The mission of the Korean-American Psychological Association (KAPA) is defined as "advancing psychology as a science, profession, and as a means of promoting human welfare." Specifically, KAPA serves as a means to promote: the development of knowledge and understanding of Korean-American psychology; the application of psychological principals specific to Korean-Americans; consideration of how social concerns impact Korean-American populations.
